Distinctive cathedral windows and tall cupolas mark the 1895 Mumm Barn located 1/3 mile north on Mumm Lane which branches off of Cold Spring Creek Road west of Pendleton between Pendleton and Holman Roads.  The barn was built by the present owner's grandfather, Jurgen Mumm.  Tradition has it that the cathedral windows were available and cheap.  The color was a yellow pea-green and is still painted yellow. Some modification of doorways have been made to allow storage of large machinery in the barn.  The great Pyranees dogs are formidable but friendly.
